Come learn and explore many fields of STEM/STEAM through hands on experiments. You will be involved in labs from Monday through Friday with the first lab starting at 8:30 in the morning and the last lab ending at 4:30 PM each day. Campers will explore a wide variety of subjects including physics, chemistry, and numerous engineering fields through hands on experimentation. Each day, campers will engage in two experiments in the morning and two experiments in the afternoon.
Examples include: coding robots, growing metallic crystals, electromagnetism, redox reactions, metal casting, working glass, thermite reactions, and exploring the world at 77 Kelvin with liquid nitrogen. On the creative and artistic side, learn how to design and print in 3D, create and fire ceramics, discover the chemistry of cooking and much much more! Campers will walk away with the know-how to take their academic knowledge, merge with the real world, and take fun science to the next level! With so many different lab options to choose from, we generally follow children's interests. Campers that attend multiple weeks have an opportunity to build on things they have already learned or continue to build on long term projects.
