Through hands-on learning, our Photography camp is designed to explore every step of the photography process, from choosing a shot to editing the final work. We will start the week off by learning the fundamentals of photography and the components of a DSLR camera, exploring the science of light and the principles of art and design. Campers will build skills in lighting, composition, and camera settings throughout the week as we take pictures inside, outside, and on field trips around the area.
After taking their pictures, campers will gain experience with digital photo editing in Adobe software, learning about how color levels, blur, cropping, and more can enhance their photos. Open for all skill levels, this camp is for anyone wanting to learn more about the science and art of photography. At the end of the week, campers will leave with a beautiful portfolio of their work that showcases their newfound photography skills.
Program Hours 8:30am-4:30pm M-F
Drop-off is from 8:00-8:30am and pickup is from 4:30-5:00pm
We can provide early care before 8:00am and late pickup between 5:00-6:00pm for an extra fee.
