Once you have completed enough class sessions to feel comfortable creating and working on your own projects, pottery open studio time is available to SMILE makerspace members.
The Schedule is:
- Mondays: 3 - 5pm & 8 - 9pm
- Wednesdays: 3 - 5pm & 8 - 9pm
- Thursdays: 3 - 5pm & 8 - 9pm
- Sundays 6 - 9pm
If you are enrolled in a workshop, there is studio time at the end of each workshop session.
We have
- hundreds of slip casting molds
- five potters wheels
- 4 kilns (and we can fire up to Cone 10)
All clay must be purchased through the makerspace and covers the clay, firing and glazes
