In Design and Build Your Own Robot Camp, campers will start with the foundations of circuitry and electronics, learning about breadboards, wiring, batteries, and the sensors that will guide their robots. Campers will then learn all about Arduinos, introducing them to coding languages, logic circuits, and more. Throughout the week, campers will refine their coding skills to create their very own robot instructions in C.
In addition to learning these technical skills, campers will also design and customize their robot's body from scratch, using G-Code, laser cutters, and 3D printers. By the end of the week, campers will assemble their robots using the variety of skills and materials they have learned and created.
Throughout the camp, campers will learn the importance of problem-solving, attention to detail, and creativity as they create a robot of their own design. And the best part? Campers get to take their robots and programs home with them, allowing them to continue exploring and improving upon their creations even after the week is over!
Program Hours 8:30am-4:30pm M-F
Drop-off is from 8:00-8:30am and pickup is from 4:30-5:00pm
We can provide early care before 8:00am and late pickup between 5:00-6:00pm for an extra fee.
