SMILE has been creating and delivering innovative programs to K-12 students for over a decade. What started with middle school students expanded to include siblings of all ages due to overwhelming demand from parents. Many parents loved our programs so much they wished they could participate themselves! Now, we’re excited to open our doors to the entire community with our Makerspace.

At SMILE Makerspace, we’ve dedicated almost half of our 12,000-square-foot facility—6,000 square feet—to making. This is your space to explore, create, and bring your ideas to life. Our primary project areas include:

Community Building
We aim to build a vibrant community of families passionate about art, craft, and science projects. Our space is perfect for sharing ideas, collaborating, and growing together.
Monthly Showcases
On the 4th Friday of every month, join us for a showcase of everyone’s projects. Show off your work, connect with fellow makers, and even sell your creations in The Maker Store.
Membership Options
We offer both Individual and Family Memberships to the SMILE Makerspace. Membership provides access to our space and equipment during operating hours. Classes are available separately and are taught by SMILE staff as well as talented members of our community.
Operating Hours
Our makerspace is open daily from before lunch until 9:30 PM, giving you plenty of time to work on your projects.
