Learn how to make stained glass projects come to life!

“Creatures of the Sea” Stained glass Workshop

Choose from a starfish, sand dollar, fish or turtle  

Students will have a variety of colors of sheet glass to choose from and provide inspiration. We will be using the copper foil method.   Students will learn how to cut and grind glass. Soldering will be taught in order to assemble the stained glass projects.  You will learn how to solder handmade hooks to hang your sun catcher in any window in your home or give away as a gift 

Instructor: George-Ann F. Greth has been a glass artist for 36 years. Her education began in Poconos Pennsylvania then Penland, North Carolina. She has two BFA degrees from Temple University, one in metals, the other in ceramics and glass, along with a minor in art history.

 

There will be a different theme for every two weeks. Two projects each month. for the first project in May the theme will be creatures of the sea.

Two 3 hour sessions on consecutive Wednesdays. 

Future projects will be lighthouses, birds, and animals.

Closed toed shoes are required.

All tools, safety equipment, and materials are provided.

The cost of the workshop is $100 with a materials fee of $50. 

The dates for the “creatures of the sea” session are May 31st and June 7th. 

Each project will have two sessions: 1 - 4 PM and 6 - 9 PM

A maximum of 4 adults in each session.
